Since I can not wait for the Arab influenced board to be back............

Are everyone else’s horses feet growing like crazy now?

My farrier is coming next week...but, last week they really could have used his services.

I can never guess at what rate these guys will grow.  Angry

Are there some outside influences that cause them to glow slower/faster that I should be aware of?  Season, weather?  Crap like that?  it would be nice if I could figure it out!

We saw faster growth back in June - not so much now.

On Monday, Bree's mare decided to show up lame (very, very gimpy) with what we're expecting to be an abscess.  No heat, no swelling, but, Tess is SUCH a tough broad, that when she showed up as lame - and THAT lame, we know it has to be BAD!!!!!!!!   We've salved, padded, doped and booted her - hopefully she'll start to get some relief.

Never had one with an abscess - so kind of feeling my way thru it -

The girls rode down the rode on Saturday on gravel and we're thinking maybe she got a stone bruise causing it? who knows.

Teddy seems to be growing a lot too.  I thought maybe since it's so stinking hot they aren't moving around as much to wear them down.  I know I'm not riding him as much.  I hate this crappy weather!

Well I gave my horses a "trim" on Sunday, by riding them!  Drifter's feet looked pretty good after that .....  Cheesy
